electrek.coOne thing is launching something, another is launching something that WORKS — especially in generative AI! 🤖 I think we've seen quite a few examples of that recently: Apple, Google and Tesla presenting awesome new AI features... In 10–15 months they've hit about 90% of the goal and tell the world about it (Apple... ahem... New Siri). Then you find out the last 10%, the parts that don't work, are pretty vital and take an extra 20 months to build. It seems easy to build fast and impress with AI, but it takes A LOT OF TIME to make it work! Woupsie! Hey Siri, add remoulade to the shopping list and send a heart to my wife. If even that isn't possible, there's probably still a way to go before FSD (Full Self-Driving) becomes 100% commonplace in everyone's garage 🚗 (2 years, Nov. 2027 — then we'll be there)
TL;DR: Tesla is heading straight for a self-inflicted multibillion-dollar iceberg. Strategic mistakes, pricing pressure, and legal/production problems could trigger a huge bill.
